COCA-COLA - Interactive Video Mapping (2011) Tube. Duration : 5.60 Mins.


Coca-Cola and their agency McCann joined forces with us to prepare a light show specific to Ramadan. The main theme of the show was 'sharing'. The show took place at Taksim Galatasaray Square where millions of people pass by every month. It was technically the first show of its kind in Turkey. Our goal was to turn the venue into a giant wall awakening the feelings of joy during the 30 days of Ramadan. To achieve this, we storyboarded the project to include a video mapping film and 4 separate interactive themes. Our video mapping film included several scenes played on the building, showing the families and friends working in the preparations of a fast-breaking in Ramadan and later sharing special moments around a special dinner table. The interactive work included taking the photos of spectators with android tablets and photo kiosks and integrating these photos into the content of the show, making the spectators all feel part of this celebration. In addition, we gave Facebook IDs to everyone we photographed so that they can share their moment of fame with their friends in social media. The entire event was also broadcast live online.
