Mississauga Celebration Square May 23, 2011 Tube. Duration : 11.77 Mins.

May 23, 2011: I will take you on a walking tour of the new Mississauga Celebration Square that is now open to the public after a year. It cost about Million to rebuilt the existing plazas as well the roof of the underground parking structure. The new stage could be higher and it will be interesting to hear the new sound system to see how much feed back will take place both on the City Hall Office as well the residential building across the street. Not sure what those 6 encase covers are in the grass are for, but someone going to trip over them if they are not looking where they are going in the first place. They could be for a bleacher or seating system, but not a nice look. The main road has been reduce to a single lane of traffic each way with the sidewalk being flush with it. Not sure if the plan is still in place for layover parking and will not know until lines are paint for them or when the road is open to traffic in September. Car folks are going to hate this and dam to bad if they do. The new pond and skating rink will only see a few cm of water now. Not sure what the large gate is for or what the area will be used for at the west end of the top plaza.
