The Finnish producer shot into prominence with his 'Solar System' album (also for Mistique) and has since gone on to appear on several other singles for Mistique and also one for John OO Fleming's Joof Recordings. Timewave's second album is entitled 'War' and it comes with ten new original compositions that will take both listeners and dance floors on an amazing journey through emotional sound. The album begins with the smooth and utterly captivating break beat composition 'Out Of Nowhere' which contains some of Timewave's classiest chords to date. It's almost like a futuristic and beachside vibe all rolled into one, emotionally gripping and soothing at the same time. A brilliant start to the LP. It doesn't take long for the album to reach full steam as the next two tracks 'Chaos' and 'Desperation' really kick things up a notch. 'Chaos' comes with a rolling, somewhat techy energy that's full of wailing vocal pads, fluttering acid lines and those churning synth lines that continuously evolve and morph in amazing fashion as the tracks progresses. I know we've drawn comparisons to Astral Projection in the past and i can't help but hear it again on 'Desperation' with those escalating Israeli style synths that just seem perfect for outdoor festival play.
