A great song done by friends that call themselves Dawgpekkargnatz. This song was recorded on Dec. 26, 2008 in the dining room of an old farm house in Washington, MO using a Fostex MR-16 digital recorder There were 6 musicians and 4 microphones. I mixed it the best I could under the conditions. Creaking chairs and an occaisional cough can be heard through it. There were no 2nd takes..... The speakers are a pair of Audiovox Model COMP-100 that were picked up at a garage sale for . They feature a cast aluminum cabinet and were sold for indoor and outdoor use. The amp is a Kenphon Model PH-750 Graphic Equalizer with Spectrum Display. This came (new) from JCWhitney and added that custom look ( & more, as everything from JCWhitney surely does...) to a number of my ex-vehicles. The battery is a sealed lead-acid Gel-Cell of 12VDC with a capacity of 7.2AH. My plan is to acquire a second battery to double the AH rating. Hopefully this will provide several hours of listening at a reasonable level. The MP3 player is a no-name chinese device that claimed to hold 32GB.. According to various web-sites that debunk false claims by sellers of questionable merchandise, I should expect it to be considerably less than that. For the price I am ...
