My Small Koi Pond Tube. Duration : 2.25 Mins.

I hope you like it please leave Q's or C's, took me about 3 days to build. I got a lot of help though you tube so I thought I would pay it forward.....Here is how I made mine: 1. Find a pre made liner and filtration system, I got mine at lowes...75 for 150 gallon liner and 75 for filtration system/waterfall. 2. Outline liner and start digging!!! dig about 3-4 inches deeper and wider so you can fill and level with sand...I live near the beach so free sand. 3. drop in liner set up filtration system and start filling up with water. As it fills use sand/dirt to pack in around the edges as it expands with water. Make sure it is level at this point. 4. Put in water conditioner and start pump (must run for a few days before adding living things). Start to edge with rocks and build around the waterfall for support ( i got the rocks for about 100 at a local stone yard, tumbled blue stone to match my patio) 5. Landscape around the pond and add the fish and plants (fish were 2 bucks each!). I did 4 comets and 4 Shubunkins..they look like koi and get to about 6-10 inches, perfect for my pond. The plants were 1. white lily, 2. pikerel rush 3. narrow catails...got off ebay. 6. Open your favorite beverage, sit back and enjoy the sound of the waterfall and watching the fish!!! Truly relaxing.
