While Nerf isn't the first name in speakers it does offer a surprising option for a iPod steering wheel and external sound. While it isn't overly loud and it will not provide booming sound it does serve a useful purpose. A few notes - Can be used as a steering wheel for games like" Need for Speed" or any game that requires a steering wheel - Provides protection in case you drop your iPod - making it a GREAT speaker for a small child that wants to watch videos or listen to music - The speaker is not very loud -it offers maybe 2x-3x more sound that the iPod Touch's normal external speaker - Fits very well in your hand - Does not charge your iPod/iPhone - the speaker works with your headphone output - Requires 4 AA batteries - unfortunately, it does is not rechargeable nor does it allow you to plug into a wall outlet. - Provides a kind of kick-stand - Can be quite affordable Final Verdict - Not bad for what it is - if you are looking for an external speaker for your desk or as a speaker for your child this is likely to be a very nice option.
