Novation Launchpad+Ableton Live+Akai Mpd 24="Progtronica" by Nigel SIfantus Tube. Duration : 6.10 Mins.
www.nigelsifantus.com , Live outdoors under the sunset of Long beach California comes Progtronica (the live outdoor extended edition) by Nigel Sifantus. This is a live improvisation using Ableton Live 8 of material from the forthcoming Progtronica-Live from Nowhere EP due to be released early 2010. All music and sounds created by me, drums played live using Roland V-Drums, sampled re-cut and launched using Novations Launchpad, and controlled by an Akai MPD 24 as well as the Launchpad and Mac. There are bits of sound taken from Brad Mehldau, Trilok Gurtu, and the Cinematic Orchestra but I challenge you to identify the sources.
