Clinton, SC siren ambiance Video Clips. Duration : 3.82 Mins.

Took this video last Saturday (Feb. 7) while we were in Clinton, South Carolina picking up some siren parts. Laurens County tests their siren system every Saturday at noon, which consists of several Federal 3T22s (mostly single phase models) at each of the county fire stations, and a Federal STH-10 (single phase) with a Whelen WPS-2902 at Presbyterian College on the western side of Clinton. The two main sirens heard in this recording are the 3T22 in downtown Clinton behind the public safety building running the steady alert signal, and the sickly-sounding STH-10 at the college running the wailing attack signal. We were about a quarter of a mile from the 3T22, and about a third of a mile from the STH-10. If you listen closely, you'll also hear a third siren very faintly, which we're pretty sure is an ACA P-15 (single tone) located at a plant somewhere in the direction of Joanna.
