eXo Xciter Bluetooth Wireless Speaker review Tube. Duration : 3.87 Mins.


I had a lot of hope for the eXo Xciter, I was optimisitc that it would combine the best part of the Wowwe 1 WOWee One Power Bass Portable Speaker for iPad, iPhone, MP3 Players, Laptops, Mobile Phones, and Personal Game Systems (Black) with the Bluetooth features of the Kinivo Bluetooth/Rechargeable speaker (Kinivo BTX110 Wireless Bluetooth Mini Portable Speaker for iPhone, iPad, Smartphones, Tablets & other Bluetooth Devices. However, if fell far short of my expectations Pros - Sound quality. If placed on the correct surface the eXo Xciter has nice sound - a very clean sound - firm and not overly metallic. Unfortunately, there just is not enough of it (more on that later). - Smaller than a hockey puck - Bluetooth works perfectly - great range and it pared almost instantly. It is a very smooth operator. - Very easy controls - simple to operate - Cool technology, it is fun to see what kind of sound response you get out of various surfaces - Easy to charge, and it comes with a retractable USB connector. Cons- - It just is not loud enough. Even on the very top volume, you will have difficulty hearing the eXo Xciter when you are standing 20 feet away. (the reason for taking off 2 stars) Final Verdict - The eXo Xciter is the very definition of a highly portable bluetooth speaker. I thought the sound performance was very good- BUT (and it is a big BUT) it just isn't loud enough.
